Terms of Service
Last updated 30 July 2026.
These terms govern your use of PrintSocket (the "Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them.
1. Your account
You must provide a working email address, and you are responsible for what happens under your account — including anything done with your API keys and enrolled devices. Keep your keys secret; we show each key once, at creation, and cannot recover it for you. Tell us promptly if you believe a key or account has been compromised.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract.
2. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- send content you have no right to print or distribute;
- print to devices you are not authorized to control;
- probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, or work around plan limits, rate limits, or authentication.
We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the Service or to others. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.
3. Plans, billing, and limits
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until canceled. Prices are those shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe; we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change affects you.
Each plan has limits on live-mode devices and live-mode jobs per month. When you reach a limit, further live requests are rejected with an HTTP 402 response until the limit resets or you upgrade. We do not bill overages. Test mode does not count toward any limit.
You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Payments already made are not refunded except where the law requires it. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for.
4. Your content
Documents and print payloads you send remain yours. You grant us only the rights we need to run the Service: to store, transmit, and process that content in order to deliver it to your printers. We do not use it for anything else. Job payloads and stored documents are retained for the periods described in our privacy policy and then deleted.
5. Availability
We work to keep the Service running, but we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something you depend on, we will give you reasonable notice by email.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for a material breach of these terms, or for non-payment. On termination we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
7. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and if you are a consumer, you keep any rights your local law gives you.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
